Miscreants attack residence of former SP cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati in Amethi

According to reports, miscreants attacked the residence of former Samajwadi Party cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati in Awas Vikas Colony late Tuesday evening.

The MLA wife of former minister Gayatri Prajapati lives in this residence with her family. Her son filed a written complaint with the Kotwali police. Police are currently investigating the entire matter.

Anurag Prajapati, son of the former minister, alleged in his police complaint that around 8 pm on Tuesday, two to three dozen people—including Sher Bahadur Yadav, Brijesh Yadav, Jai Singh Pralap Yadav, Balram Yadav, Anurag Yadav, Manu Pal, Vipin Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, and Shubham Yadav—arrived at the gate of the MLA’s residence in Awas Vikas Colony on motorcycles and in a black Scorpio car. Standing outside the gate, they started abusing his mother, MLA Maharaji Prajapati, former cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and the entire family, and threatened to kill them.
